What's Least Expected started in the Fall of 2002, as Guitarist/Vocalist Ian Hammons and Bassist Keith Haynes hooked up to record for Ian's side band. The two decided they wanted to be part of a serious band, and formed what at that time was AK-33. Eric Dryburgh was found to drum for the band a few months later, and Brian Skuropatki was added to the line-up a few weeks later, when the band decided to add a rythem guitarist. After the group's first practice, the band (now named What's Least Expected, with thanks to Eric) was confident they could become a top band in the local N.J. underground scene. Look for the band to grow in the next few months as more shows are planned.
